For the historic debut of Vogue Singapore’s first fully digital cover, I was invited by The Fabricant and artist Shavonne Wong to design a bespoke digital headpiece. Drawing inspiration from traditional Singaporean bridal crowns, I reimagined the intricate heritage design with a futuristic dimension. The goal was to craft a regal, avant-garde accessory that defined the aesthetic of a 'futuristic goddess,' blending cultural legacy with a high-tech, ethereal atmosphere.

PROCESS

In a project aimed at transposing the traditional magazine cover shoot into the future of digital production, I utilized VR technology to bridge the gap between craftsmanship and 3-D design. I approached the creation of the crown by sketching architectural shapes directly in a virtual environment, allowing me to refine proportions and scale against the avatar in real-time. This process mirrored the techniques of a traditional jeweler working on a physical model, ensuring an anatomical precision that only immersive technology could provide. I decided to document the process.Everyone loves little teasers, you can use this space to add your own.
